Handwoven textiles are woven on home looms and given as gifts to mark special occasions and milestones. Most exquisitely adorned of all Moroccan blankets is the handira, or wedding blanket which can be detailed with sequins, tassels, braids, and pompoms. You don’t need to be a blushing bride to enjoy our handiras.

Like a long friendship, the natural cotton in our Moroccan blankets arrives with a bit of coarseness to them, but the fibers relax as the blankets are lived in and loved in.
