Effie's Oatcakes

These lightly sweet, classic tea biscuits are unlike any you’ve tasted. A fourth-generation family recipe, our original Oatcakes are crisp and buttery with layers of toasted oats and a hint of salt. Enjoy Oatcakes on their own or pair them with your favorite jam, nut butter, or virtually any cheese—from blue to brie.  

Ingredients 

Wheat Flour, Butter, Oats, Molasses, Butter, Cane Sugar, Organic Palm Oil*, Water, Kosher Salt, Ginger, Baking Soda

Oat Information: We do not use any oats and/or oat products that have been treated with glyphosate. This does not suggest any health or food safety concerns as reviewed and regulated by both the US FDA and/or CFIA/Health Canada.

Palm Oil Information: The world's insatiable demand for palm oil is responsible for deforestation, a loss of biodiversity, and the displacement of indigenous peoples. For these reasons, we use organic palm oil from Ciranda which sources only the highest quality products, guaranteed by ISO certification. Ciranda was one of the first companies in the United States to offer 100% certified sustainable Identity Preserved (IP) Organic palm oils following the 2013 certification by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
